What We’ve Achieved

  • Dec 2021 - Obtained 501.c3 legal status as a non-profit

  • Dec 2021 - Exceeded our first fund raising milestone of $1000.00

  • Feb 2022 - Board of Directors is founded

  • March 2022 - Official go live of new site and initiation of new fundraising campaign

  • June 2022 - Partnership with KCKCC in Kansas City, KS Launched

  • January 2023 - Funds distributed and awarded at KCKCC

  • May 2023 - First Judy Nelson Foundation Fundraiser raising over $5000

  • June 2023 - Funds distributed and awarded at KCKCC

  • August 2024 - 2nd Judy Nelson Foundation Fundraiser raising over $7500

  • September 2024 - 3x Funds distributed and awarded at KCKCC

  • March 2025 - Partnership with SDCCE (San Diego College of Continuing Education in San Diego, CA

  • April 2025 - 1st Scholarship awarded at SDCCE

  • May 2025 - 1st Single Mother of the Judy Nelson Foundation Scholarship at KCKCC Graduates!

  • June 2025 - Partnership with Bluegrass Community College in Lexington, KY

  • June 2025 - Funds distributed and awarded at KCKCC
